About Pantry House
Established in 2012, Pantry House has been dedicated to the tradition of making preserves from simple, local and organic ingredients. Nestled on the coast of Santa Cruz, California, we are a small-batch canning company that seeks to embody the community and place we come from. Using only natural ingredients from nearby and sustainable farms and growers, our array of gourmet mustards, fruit butters, and jams capture the natural beauty of this region for you to share at your table.
THE CHEF & OWNER
Isabel Freed has worked with organic farms, restaurants, breweries and bakeries for over a decade. She is a graduate of The California Culinary Academy in San Francisco (Le Cordon Bleu), and earned her BA in Environmental Studies from The University of California, Santa Cruz, with a focus on educating youth about sustainable and bio-ethical food systems. Isabel loves food, the California coastline and saving things for later.
